Overview

This standard comprises the following elements:

This activity is likely to be undertaken by someone whose work role involves Weapons, Ordnance, Munitions or Explosives work activities. This includes people working as researchers, designers and developers.

Performance Criteria

1. Contribute to investigations into explosive substances and/or articles
P1 work safely at all times, complying with health and safety, environmental and other relevant regulations, legislation and guidelines
P2 follow the research plan
P3 collaborate as a team member
P4 use all methods, techniques and apparatus in line with the procedures
P5 document and report all unexpected outcomes or incidents, as they occur
P6 pay attention to hazards and risks arising from the investigation

P8 document the details of the investigation and its outcomes in the required format
P9 maintain the requirements of confidentiality at all times
