Overview

This standard covers the competences you need to Supervise the preparation of the explosives processing operation in accordance with approved procedures and practices.

You will be required to demonstrate that you can confirm that the materials to be used are of the correct identity, quality and quantity, report any problems beyond your authority, to the appropriate person in accordance with approved procedures and practices.

This activity is likely to be undertaken by someone whose work role involves Weapons, Ordnance, Munitions or Explosives work activities. This includes those working as manufacturing managers and supervisors.
